  1. Blog Branding is a continuous process I think. This article reminded me that I hadn’t worked on the blog fonts since long. So, I probably look onto. Gemmaa could you suggest any plugin that doesn’t decrease the images quality on blog when uploaded ? Because I feel that the images quality decreases when simply uploaded.

    1. Absolutely, and it is something I am still learning more about everyday! I definitely recommend looking into what fonts work for you. I use a lot of photos from the free library on wordpress, but when I do use my own images I don’t find that the quality decreases for me personally. You could check when you are saving them that they are high quality and then try uploading them. I am not too sure about a plugin that does that, I don’t personally use one so I am sorry I cannot be of more help! x

  2. Yes Gemma!! Loved this post so much! πŸ€— I’ve recently written a similar post for Get Blogged so it’s lovely to read another’s perspective on it! πŸ’›

Branding is so important across all our channels not just blogging necessarily. A consistent theme and colour palette will ensure your followers and readers know that a piece of content has come from you and not somebody else! X 😁

Fabulous piece of work hun Xoxo

    1. Thank you so much! πŸ₯Ί I was so nervous as it was my first time πŸ™ˆ I shall go check yours out as well, because I love reading others like you said! πŸ’š

Yes I couldn’t agree more, and it is definitely something I am learning more about and developing better as well ☺️ thanks hun xxx

  3. I launched my new blog only a couple months back so I’m not going to refresh it anytime soon, but I am already thinking of changing my theme somewhere down the line and upgrading to a more sophisticated look. Great post!

    1. That is great! I am pretty sure I am always thinking about new themes haha! I am similar to you and I actually changed my theme back in January this year as I upgraded my site then πŸ™‚ thank you xx

  4. Loved reading this! I have been thinking about a change of theme down the line, but never thought about changing fonts, I am sure they would make a great difference! Colour palette and blog photography are so important too, thanks for sharing x

    1. Thank you so much! Yeah I recently changed mine back in January. I definitely recommend looking into fonts and how they can make such a difference πŸ™‚ xx

  5. Great post, I completely agree with everything you’ve said. Branding is an evolution of who you are a content creator and how your channels have changed. I need to jazz mine up a bit, maybe I’ll make a start this weekend

  6. Great tips (and congrats on your first Get Blogged AD!) I’m going to be refreshing my theme soon, I think. I’m keeping the same theme but upgrading to the pro version because I need a little brand refresh I think!

  7. Blog branding is really important! I’ve been thinking to change my logo and theme this year. Hopefully it’ll be settled soon. Thanks for the great tips x

  8. As a new blogger, I can say I’m still very poor in my blog brand right now. I’m still finding a way to switch to WordPress and then I’ll start building my brand from there. This is such a great list of tips!! Indeed, the logo and visual themes all the way from the blog to my social media sites — there’s no uniform design to represent my brand so I need to work on this. This is so helpful so thank you for sharing!

    1. It is still something that even I work on and I have been blogging for nearly 5 years now. So don’t worry at all! Just spend time with it and find what you love and what shows you and your personality of your blog off really well! Good luck πŸ™‚ xx

  9. These are some great suggestions. I am wanting to change my branding however I have a lot going on right now. But is something I want to do in the future. Thank you for sharing.
