Happy Monday I hope you are all doing well, I know everything was a bit confusing yesterday but we are all in this together! Anyway I wanted to talk about being organised today in this post, because I believe it helps in so many ways.
Benefits
There are many benefits in being organised including increasing your productivity levels. In addition, being organised means that you can focus on tasks or things on your to do list that are more important, so ultimately saving you a lot more time in the long run.

I have also read that there are many health benefits to being organised too! A study was conducted comparing those with a tidy desk area to those with a messy desk area, and findings suggested that those with a tidy desk area were more likely to make healthier food choices (you can read an article about it here). For example, reaching for an apple instead of snacking on chocolate.
Staying organised can also help reduce stress and encourage a better sleeping habit! I know how much better I feel when my room is tidy and it just makes me WANT to sleep there and just have a better overall experience.
Anyway, today I am bringing you 5 simple ways to help you organise your life. Let’s jump straight into them…

Make note of things
By this I mean keep a note of anything important including; dates, commitments, your blog schedule etc. Writing things down will help you keep on top of your daily/weekly/monthly duties and also act as a reminder of what needs to be done.
I personally have my own diary and I like to write down by hand, however you can also use your laptop/computer or even the notes app on your phone (or something similar).
I also like to write a blog post with my goals for the month as this encourages me to aim for my goals, and I am more likely to stick to them.

Give everything a home
This might sound obvious but sometimes it can be easy to just not put things back where they belong. Therefore, making sure everything in your home is in it’s place will help to keep your home organised. Also it will make your space feel much better, and more positive because “a tidy home is a tidy mind”.
I also love to change things up sometimes and move things around to make it feel like a “new space”, or bring colour into my home. Sometimes this also inspires you to organise a space much better! You can check out my post on bringing spring into your life for some inspiration.

Declutter regularly
In making sure everything has a home this also requires a nice declutter. I also recommend doing this as regularly as you can. Doing this regularly ensures you do not keep things that you do not need. Therefore, it is important to schedule time each week/month to organise your home and make sure you stick to this consistently. You will honestly feel so much better about it if you do!
If you need some help I wrote a post on cleaning to help you get started.

Keep only what you need
This links into the point above but, more stuff equals more clutter. Therefore, be strict with yourself and only keep what you actually need. Also having fewer things means you can enjoy them more and appreciate what you have.
One way to do this is to take a minimalist approach to life! I love the freedom you get from allowing yourself to be free from this need to possess items. I am trying my best to be as minimal as possible and instead turn my time to appreciating life rather than possessions.

Work hard
Being organised does require time and work, but it also does save time in the long run. I personally love putting in the work to make sure the space I am living in works for me. But I have always been brought up with a hard work ethic, it is definitely something that runs in my family.
Putting in the time always equals results, and if that is what you are looking for then you need to work hard for it.

There you have it some some ways to organise your life!
Let me know in the comments any tips you have for being organised?

awesome!! de-cluttering is an area girls like me need to take in, inside and out. Not much talk about it, but the moment you start doing it it reflects on us and our mental health, from my brushes tray to tops. I am so happy many girls are taking this up to heart. My friend in Dubai has received from a blogger a planner that she put up on her fridge organizing her day….I visited that blogger site,,, plenty of awesome ideas , link below:
