Spooky season countdown is on as Halloween approaches us this week. Am I sad about that? Yes. I think October has gone way too fast, and I wish it could last a little bit longer because I love spooky season.
I know everyone has been going to pumpkin patches and I really enjoyed this post here by Chloe so definitely check it out! However, I have never been to one before and I have been wanting to go since forever. Therefore, I knew this year I had to make it my mission to find one that was near me.
Alas I made it to one.
At first I thought it wasn’t going to happen due to the rain that decided to happen on the day I planned to go, resulting in the farm closing for days. However, this weekend has been surprisingly much better meaning I finally managed to get to a pumpkin patch!
I was quite surprised with how huge this farm actually was. There was a cute tea place, a shop and food stall, which are all great editions to the farm. Definitely something for the family as well. There is also a maze, which I believe tends to be at most pumpkin patches.
Of course I went straight past these and practically ran to the pumpkin patch (nearly resulting in me falling flat on my butt in the mud). I probably looked more excited than all the families with their children were.
I mean look at all the beautiful pumpkins?
Plus the sun was shining which made the field look even more beautiful. I never knew there were so many different kinds of pumpkins. Black, blue, white, green and of course orange. I mean I have seen them online but never in person.
Of course I had to get me some different kinds of pumpkins. First of all I picked a massive one to carve on Halloween! I look so proud.
Then I grabbed a couple of smaller pumpkins for decoration outside our front door. One has these weird bumps all over it, but I think it looks cool and different.
Then whilst we were waiting to pay I found this tiny white pumpkin and a small black pumpkin. I have never seen black pumpkins before but I knew I had to get it! It just adds extra spookiness and is giving me Halloween vibes.
I got all five pumpkins for £5 which I don’t think was that bad, and I am always happy to help out local farms. Plus parking was free so overall the experience and prices were pretty good.
Have you ever been to a pumpkin patch?
Thanks for reading, I shall see you soon with some more spooky posts! Also bending down in the mud is hard, the amount of times I nearly fell back on my bum or got muddy! Anyway, have a good one,

I went to a pumpkin patch for the first time too last week! It was so much fun and a lovely memory but INCREDIBLY muddy 😂 My sister went mad with buying the pumpkins and I came away with 3 baby ones that I’m hoping to carve tomorrow 🎃 Glad you had a good time and thank you for sharing it with us! 😄❤️

I love white pumpkins. They are so pretty. My mom always plants some decorative ones and they really make autumn so much prettier.

October definitely has gone by too fast! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a pumpkin patch, but they seem really cool! If it was all muddy (or even if it wasn’t 😅), I probably would have almost/actually tripped too haha. The pumpkins you picked out look awesome! 🎃
