As I completely bossed my March goals (which were fitness related) I thought I will set myself some new goals throughout April. However, this month is not going to be completely related to just fitness goals, but will involve some personal goals as well. If you want to check out my March goals you can do so here.
Lets get into it…
1) Run 35 miles
Throughout March I managed to run the 25 miles which I had set myself. However, if you have read my previous post (I shall link at the bottom if you wanna go back and read it) you will know I struggled with this one a bit. I was in a running slump for some reason. However, I am back (I think haha) and ready to boss this months running. Plus I have got to up my game, it’s official that my Half-Marathon has been booked for this year and I am ready to beat my time. Therefore, I am setting my goal to run 35 miles. I am ready for you April!
2) Attend a Fitness Class
This one is pretty self-explanatory and I managed to go to a fitness class last month (of course leaving it until the last minute- typical me haha). But, I really enjoy them when I do have the chance to go so I want to just stick with the one class. Simple.
3) Perform all my Dances Perfectly
Ok so this one is slightly different, but I am currently learning two dances (at the same time haha) and I have already learnt two other dances. Therefore, I just want to be able to perform them without messing up I guess. Practice makes perfect after all.
Now onto some personal goals…
1) Begin my Data Collection Properly
Anyone that is studying or has studied Psychology will know your dissertation involves carrying out an experiment/study. This means collecting data, which can be stressful or maybe you are just really lucky haha. I made the decision to want to collect data within Primary Schools and it is a struggle. So I would like April to be the month where Schools, even if it is just one school will be happy for me to collect data.
2) Spring Clean my room/sort out clothes
I think now I am finishing my lectures and placement I will have some more free time (well I say that but I will still be incredibly busy- just working from home a lot more or going into schools). However, I will like to begin spring cleaning my room and just sorting through things I don’t need or use anymore. But, also through my clothes again and either sell or give them to charity.
3) Overall Just Tidy More Regularly
Self-explanatory but I just want to dedicate more time to cleaning. I mean I clean but I just want to do it a bit more frequently and actually have a time slot each week for certain things.
4) Applying for Jobs
This is something I want to start beginning, definitely as I will only be concentrating on my dissertation from May on-wards until September. Therefore, I want to start exploring other job opportunities and really think about what I want to do (I do have an exciting meeting coming up but we shall see).
5) Finish my Last few Deadlines
This one kind of links into the data collection, but basically I just want to get my next few deadlines out of the way so I can concentrate on this and my dissertation. Got to power through these next few weeks until hand in and exam and then that will be one less thing to think about (boy has my masters gone quick).
